WELCOME TO SUBANG

Subang Regency is a regency in West Java province, Indonesia. The capital is Subang. Subang Regency is geographically located between 10 731 '- 10 754' east longitude and 611 '- 649' south latitude. Subang Regency area bordered by Java Sea to the north, east Indramayu District, Sumedang in southeast, south of Bandung Regency,  Purwakarta Regency and Karawang regency in the west. The total area of 2051.76 km2 Subang district. Subang Regency, consisting of 253 village and town incorporated in 22 districts.

As the physically predicate as one of the national granary, Subang regency donate rice production reached 1,020,606 tons against the national rice stock. Production of paddy is produced from 1,015,695 tons of wetlands and the rest of the field. Rice varieties are widely planted among veriatas Ciherang, IR-64, Cigeulis and PB-42. Rice production center located in District Binong, Pusakanagara, Ciasem, Pamanukan, Patokbeusi and Blanakan.

Subang have a unique culture, that is sisingaan ( Artificial lion ), Sisingaan art is a kind of traditional art that grows and develops in Subang district, this art has

a special characteristic or identity of a pair of statues sisingaan or animal that resembles a lion.

In addition to food crops, the potential for other agricultural sectors such as crops. There are five types of commodity crops, namely maize, with production centers in the District Pagaden, Purwadadi and Jalancagak, cassava, with a production center located in District Purwadadi, Sagalaherang, Cijambe and Cipeundeuy, sweet potato, with a production center located in District Purwadadi, Jalancagak and Sagalaherang, peanut, with production centers in the District kalijati and soybean, with production centers in the District Compreng.

In the plantation sector, the mountainous area located in the south is the area of plantation commodities such as clove, coffee, sugarcane and tea. Existing large estates, currently operated by PT.
